For Arpa®, kitchens are synonymous with elegance and functionality, as well as conviviality and wellbeing. The Rosa Shade décor opens up a world of cosy, functional kitchen design options. What’s more, thanks to Arpa’s Bloom technology, opting for this décor means reducing the environmental impact of the materials used.
Two projects created by Aran Cucine and Modoo, respectively, showcase how Arpa Bloom in Rosa Shade can lend a space the relaxed feel of a warm atmosphere combined with all the convenience of an island kitchen.
Easy on the eyes and the planet
In a minimalistic, highly contemporary space, Italian company Aran Cucine has designed a kitchen featuring a pink island that faces a white wall with built-in ovens. As the Rosa Shade worktop overhangs its supporting structure and has lighting installed beneath it, there is a sense of light and movement created around the island. The choice of this distinctive shade of pink emphasises the creative flair of the project, breaking through the otherwise austere minimalism to lend the kitchen a feeling of warmth. The stark contrast with the white walls and ultra-modern dark brown floor further highlights the striking impact of the design. This is paired with the project’s conscious approach, in that it uses Arpa’s lignin-based Bloom technology, which reduces the phenol in the material’s core by 50%. Aran Cucine’s island establishes a convivial space by using a pink that is easy on the eyes and the planet.
An eclectic elegance
Interior design firm Modoo demonstrates how to use the Rosa Shade décor in a more eclectic context. In a charming combination between the contemporary style of the kitchen, the classic elegance of herringbone parquet flooring, and a distinctive ceiling with exposed beams and Oriental-inspired patterns, Arpa’s décor harmoniously ties together this array of diverse elements. The kitchen consists of wall cabinets and a monolithic island with unit doors on the front, extending to leave potential space for seating. The pink of the Arpa surfaces, paired with FENIX® innovative materials in Rosso Jaipur, makes for an intense colour identity that lends the space a wonderful warmth. Both visually and texturally, the design is relaxing and welcoming: Arpa’s Kèr finish is combined with FENIX for a perfect duo of soft, matt surfaces. The Bloom technology applied to the core of Arpa’s surfaces makes this a highly elegant kitchen that is still environmentally conscious.
